Perspectives, monthly column in En Voyage, EVA Air’s in-flight magazine
En Voyage magazine has a monthly print run of 800,000 copies and is distributed on all EVA Air / UNI Air international flights, Evergreen International Hotels and Evergreen buses. My column, which is illustrated by the incredibly talented I Ying Yeh, is a light-hearted look at popular travel issues facing global travelers.

Interviews with Travel Writers, Photographers, Editors, & Publishers

For three years, I worked with publisher Tim Leffel to find the most interesting people in the industry to interview about their move to web 2.0 (or should we now say 3.0?) Check out some of the best interviews I’ve done here–or head over to Travel Writing 2.0 to check out the 100+ writers, editors, and publishers I’ve interviewed over the years.

  • Interview with Chicana feminist travel writer and associate professor Stephanie Elizondo Griest
  • Interview with acclaimed southwest writer Tom Miller
  • Interview with human rights activist and LGBT writer Michael Luongo
  • Interview with literary travel writer Laurie Gough
  • Interview with adventure writer and new media/travel writing teacher Amanda Castleman
